Crean Hill Gun Club is interested in expanding and bringing new shooting disciplines available to our members.

We are always open to new ideas from our members.

IPSC SHOOTING

International Practical Shooting Confederation | IPSC Members Only

There are over 114 countries worldwide as part of an international IPSC organization.

IPSC matches at Crean Hill Gun Club are open to all IPSC members in good standing in IPSC Ontario and IPSC Canada. IPSC matches are posted on IPSC Ontario website. IPSC matches at Crean Hill are held on weeknights, and weekends. During the winter, matches are held at the heated Indoor range. During the summer many matches are held outdoors on RANGE #3, #4, #5 and #6.

PPC SHOOTING

Police Pistol Combat | Club Members Only | 12PM (3rd Sunday of every month)

Challenge yourself shooting from sitting, kneeling, standing and prone positions, with both right and left hands at the 7, 25 and 50 metre stages. During warm seasons, matches are held on Range #6 and indoors during the winter. Any centre fire calibre, 60 rounds, 6 inch maximum barrel length. Open sights only. No optics. Compete for plaques and trophies at our annual trophy shoot every year in September.

BLACK POWDER

RANGE #6 OUTDOORS

We have a large contingent of black powder shooters. Monthly matches include: muzzle-loading rifles, handguns, and smooth bore... Iron sights only, no peep sights.

The matches are held at 25 metres for long guns and 15 meters for pistols. Matches are held on Range #6. The heated shooting house comes in handy in the winter! When it is really bad weather they use the indoor range.

New shooters are welcome and firearms can be loaned so interested people can try this variant of the shooting sport.

Prizes are given monthly at various levels to ensure everyone has a chance to win.
