WELCOME

FROM HUMBLE BEGINNINGS

The Crean Hill Gun Club was founded in 1965 by employees working at INCO`s Crean Hill Mine in Sudbury, ON.

The club was given use of an INCO gravel pit near the mine and remained there until 1967

when the membership purchased its own property on Grassy Lake Road in the Township of Louise.

In 1978, with the assistance of Wintario funding, the club purchased a 160 acre parcel of land in Drury Township. About 20 years ago a 20 acre parcel was sold back to INCO for their purpose of installing transmission lines.

In the fall of 2015 a new range was constructed consisting of 1 indoor range and 7 outdoor ranges open all year.

The Clubhouse

THE CLUBHOUSE

Our clubhouse is open all year round.

The club's 25 metre heated indoor range with an automated target retrieval system is the

most modern facility in the North, allowing for shooting year-round. The clubhouse is heated and fully equipped with running hot and cold water, indoor toilets, a meeting room and full service kitchen.
