An introduction to .22 Bulls Eye Shooting was held at the club on
January 31, 2015.
Many of our newer members have expressed an interest in having a chance to try out
shooting from the firing line under supervision.
This was their big chance!
The day started in the meeting room of the club house at 10:00.
Director Tom Grylls reviewed:
1. basic gun cleaning
2. gun handling;
3. target placement;
4. shooting stance;
5. muzzle & trigger control;
5. sighting & target acquisition;
6. range commands for bulls eye matches;
7. scoring your targets.
Following the instructional part of the seminar, everyone headed
to the indoor range to try out the basics of bulls-eye shooting.
A good time was had by all.
Thank you to Directors Tom Grylls, Trevor Weise, Jack Rivet, Vance McAfee
& Len Walker
for taking part in this very worthwhile event!
