After inquiries through the Chief Firearms Office in the spring of this year,
we have been advised by letter on June 7, 2019,
that the "two-man rule" which has applied to the indoor range for years
no longer applies.
Members are free to shoot on the indoor range without the necessity that another
person be present be present to act as a Range Safety Officer.
Below is a downloadable copy of the confirming letter and
our current range approvals for 2019,
both of which are in effect immediately.
Once there is more than one shooter on the indoor range, one member must still
assume the duties of Range Safety Officer and be in charge of the range.
