The Crean Hill Gun Club was formed in 1965 by employees working at INCO`s Crean Hill Mine.
The club was given use of an INCO gravel pit near the mine and remained there until 1967. At that time the membership purchased its own property on Grassy Lake Road in the Township of Louise. In 1978, with the assistance of Wintario funding, the club purchased a 160 acre parcel of land in Drury Township.
After selling a portion of the land back to INCO., the club`s current 140 acre property now holds 2 active outdoor ranges and one year round indoor range.
In the fall of 2015 a new range was constructed. We expect to have approval for bullseye, cowboy action and I.P.S.C. sometime in the spring of 2016.
The clubhouse has kitchen facilities and a meeting room as well as running hot and coldwater year round.
We have private indoor washrooms for men and women.
The club's 25 yard heated indoor range (above), is the most modern facility in the North allowing for shooting year-round.
